ProjectManager.com has done it again.

For the second time this year year, ProjectManager.com is #1 on the influential Gartner business software ranking site GetApp. ProjectManager.com has been chosen in GetApp’s third-quarter rankings for 2016 as the best in three of its categories.

• #1 — Task Management
• #1 — Project Portfolio Management

“ProjectManager.com swept the top project management categories in GetApp’s Q3 rankings, claiming the #1 spots within our Project Management, Project Portfolio Management and Task Management reports,” said Suzie Blaszkiewicz, GetApp’s market researcher and head of the project management category rankings. “Their robust integration options helped drive their high scores across each of these categories. Additionally, their system’s versatile mobility, strong data security, as well as positive customer reviews solidified these place top rankings in the industry.”

The rankings feature the 25 best cloud project management tools for a number of different categories. The scoring is across five factors, each worth 20 points, for a total perfect score of 100, and is conducted by independent and unbiased judges. The five factors are: user, reviews, integrations, mobile app availability, media presence and security.

In the three categories where ProjectManager.com ranked #1, it scored at least an 80 or above.

ProjectManager.com not only dominated the top of these categories, but it also outperformed Trello, Wrike, Asana and Basecamp.

In their last quarterly rankings, back in April 2016, GetApp awarded ProjectManager.com the #1 slot in Project and Portfolio Management. ProjectManager.com also debuted at numbers 3, 4 and 5 in Project Collaboration, Project Management and Task Management, respectively.

At that time, Suzie Blaszkiewicz, research and project manager at GetApp, noted that ProjectManager.com’s “robust integrations, strong media presence and high security score contributed to its good positioning.”

GetApp is a top business apps discovery network, with approximately 2 million users monthly. The site, whose parent company Nubera was acquired by Gartner in 2015, focuses on profiling established business apps — mostly SaaS — targeting an audience of small and medium-sized businesses and business buyers from enterprise departments. They announced their latest rankings in a July 21 press release.
